Dock leveler installation and replacement
For a new installation or replacement, we review the selected leveler, manufacturer requirements and existing opening. Equipment dimensions, removal work, access and any required steel modifications all affect the field scope.
Bumpers, seals and surrounding steel
Dock bumpers and seals need to suit the selected equipment and building conditions. JDS can include these components and associated steel work in a coordinated installation package when they are identified in the plans or equipment list.
Plan around shipping operations
Occupied facilities may need the work sequenced around active dock positions and delivery windows. Tell us which doors can be closed, how equipment can be staged and whether other trades are handling concrete, electrical or door work.

Do you install dock equipment supplied by the owner?
Yes. Send the equipment specifications and site photos so JDS can review the installation requirements.
Can removal of the old leveler be included?
Removal can be included in a replacement scope. Identify the existing unit, access constraints and disposal requirements when requesting the bid.
