Millwright & Equipment InstallationIn Utah & across the West.

JDS Fabrication supports industrial equipment installation with machinery setting, equipment support steel and coordinated millwright work. We serve contractors and facility teams working in new buildings, active plants and scheduled shutdowns.

Machinery setting and positioning

Equipment dimensions, weight, lifting information and the path to the final location guide the scope review. JDS coordinates placement with the project team and identifies access, rigging and installation needs before mobilization.

Support frames and access systems

Equipment often needs support steel, stands, utility supports, stairs or platforms as part of the installation. Bringing those pieces into one scope review helps identify interfaces between the machinery and the surrounding facility.

Retrofits and shutdown work

Inside an operating facility, removal, installation and restart activities need a defined sequence. Share the shutdown window, work areas and responsibilities for utilities, controls, commissioning and other specialist work so the field installation can be coordinated.

JDS serves commercial and industrial projects in Ogden, Salt Lake City and throughout Utah, with travel work in Idaho, Nevada, California, Montana and Colorado. Share your project location and schedule so mobilization can be included in the bid.

Common questions

Can JDS include equipment support steel?

Yes. Send the support drawings and field dimensions with the equipment installation scope so fabrication and installation can be reviewed together.

What do you need to review a machinery move?

Provide the equipment weight, dimensions, approved lifting information, current and proposed locations, and available access. Photos help explain field constraints.

Talk through the scope
