Structural Steel ErectionIn Utah & across the West.

JDS Fabrication provides structural steel erection for commercial and industrial projects across Utah and the Mountain West. Our ironworker crews handle field installation from columns and beams to deck, canopies and structural additions.

Commercial and industrial steel

We review the erection drawings, connection details and material delivery sequence to define the field package. The work can include columns, beams, joists, metal deck and miscellaneous steel connected to the structural scope.

Erection around real site conditions

Access, crane positioning, lift equipment, surrounding trades and existing operations all affect an erection plan. JDS brings those questions into the estimating conversation so equipment, sequencing and schedule responsibilities are clear.

Additions and field modifications

Existing buildings often require measurement and coordination before new steel will fit. We support structural additions, equipment support frames and field modifications to the project drawings, with design questions referred to the responsible engineer.
